Treatment of Gout [goat]

Only Colchicine [coal chick] is used for acute gout [a cut goat]. Can also be used in chronic cases of gouty arthritis
- Inhibits microtubule formation, impairing mitosis [cracked egg looks like a dividing cell]
Chronic hyperuricemia predisposes to gout and can be due to:
- Too much production
  - Allopurinol decreases synthesis (by inhibiting xanthine oxidase) [gallop-purine trampling the young goats, making sure they never grow to big levels]
- Slow elimination via the kidney. Elimination is accelerated by ["Goat Elimination Center", where goats are burned]:
  - Sulfinpyrazone [sulfur in pyre zone (the yellow sulfur granule in funeral pyre for the goat)]
  - Probenecid [probe in acid, the probe impaling the goat]
