Targets cell wall of gram (-) and (+) bacteria [puncturing holes in red & purple bacteria] and anaerobes [feces with a snorkel]
Resistant to beta-lactamases [the imitation mask shields from hungry beta-lactamases]
Excreted by the kidney and is nephrotoxic [flushing into the kidney, cracking its surface]
Causes elevation of eosinophils and decrease of neutrophils [white blood cells on the see-saw]
Given intravenously [needle-tip pen]
