Block dopamine receptors
Anti-hallucinogenic effects result from blockage of the D2 dopaminergic receptor [psychedelic colors on D2]
Chlorpromazine [clorox prom maze]
- Has antimuscarinic and antihistaminic effects [the musk ox had to die to make the potent perfume that cracked his-mine]
- Also used in the treatment of motion sickness [ship going through the maze]

- Side effects:

- Has antihistaminic effects [his-mine], causing side effects such as dry mouth [flames can dry]

- Urinary retention [full bladder]
